I'm a Nana who reads/loves your wife's blog. Just noticed that you have one too. {Yeah, I'm slow now. -grin-} Wow but I have to read here toooooo! I can tell you-yourself, how much I appreciate all our military and their families toooooooo. For what they are doing for our country. Sounds corny but I mean it. Damn it but I mean it.
And btw, that "damn it" is not part of my usual *Nana In Pretty Blog Land.* But it is also part of me. I found what I call "pretty blog land," as a respite from the rest of my blogging. Out there where Real Life goes on and there is sadness and strife and how-do-we-handle-this? questions and fighting over how-we-handle-this? questions and debate and argument and 'them vs. us,' in our own country. I so value our military! I so value their dedication to this War With Radical Islam. I so wish all PC words would be dropped and everyone would call a spade a spade. I am so fearful for how our country is going....... -sigh-
There, I really spilled my guts, and not in my 'Pretty Blog Land' way. :-( But I can't comment here, in my ostrich mode. I can't. I can't. I don't live my whole life, in ostrich mode. You aren't in need of that 'pretty' cover.
And {your blog title question} yes you are more than Air Force Guy. And you know you are. But like it or not, what we DO in life, is a big part of how we view ourselves. And you are part of a BIG team. It naturally is very high in your mind.
